There is a new old Florida restaurant in Palm Beach County. The eatery is in the Ben Autograph Collection Hotel in West Palm Beach, offering premier views of the Palm Harbor Marina and Intracoastal Waterway. The hotel feeds into the spirit of West Palm Beach’s great locales. The hotel’s new executive chef, Jesse Pita has created a divine new menu for the eatery, the Proper Grit.

Proper Grit honors the high-spirited, casual-yet-refined experience of an early nineteenth-century public house, with the inventive food and beverages of a modern-day gastro pub. The restaurant is in the lobby-floor dining room styled after Old Florida’s regal beginnings mixed with the warm, casual comforts of home, Proper Grit offers breakfast, lunch, dinner, weekend brunch, and a daily happy hour with live entertainment.

The hotel features a spectacular rooftop lounge with an expansive swimming pool and bar. Walk to legendary Clematis Street, just minutes to West Palm’s “Main Street,” and lifestyle hub in Rosemary Square. This luxury boutique hotel ideally located in West Palm Beach.

Experience elevated favorites, such as Gratitude Farm mushroom bruschetta with goat cheese cream, caramelized onions, and preserved lemon on sourdough or the Philly cheesesteak sliders, herb-oil-poached salmon, and a full menu of just mac and cheese.

Proper Grit is also open for breakfast Monday through Friday.  Brunch is offered on Saturday and Sunday.  Enjoy the all-day happy hour every day.
