Seahorses are unique, and not just because of their unusual equine shape. Unlike most other fish, they are monogamous and mate for life. Rarer still, they are among the only animal species on Earth in which the male bears the unborn young. If you are interested in learning more about seahorses, start with a painting of a seahorse cut out.
On Thu Oct 27, 2022, from 06:45 pm to 09:00 pm analyze the seahorse by painting a 14" seahorse wooden cutout. It will take place at the Butcher Shop Beer Garden, 209 6th Street, in West Palm Beach. The seahorse will feature a “day of the dead design.” All materials and instructions will be provided.
The story of The Butcher Shop Beer Garden and Grill began with the purchase of an old-fashioned butcher shop in West Palm Beach, previously named Charlie's. It was known for its enduring recipes and dedication to quality meats. Igor Niznik,, from New York and of Eastern European descent, quickly took to the creative challenges and demands of operating the shop, permeating his own flavor into the gourmet market. His eldest son, Fred, relocated to the Miami area and discovered the Wynwood Arts District. Suggestive of New York City, he immediately fell in love with South Florida. Its prospect of art, culture, and beauty encouraged him to infuse his father’s ideas and his to create The Butcher Shop Beer Garden.
