The Playhouse

The Lake Worth Playhouse, the oldest building on the register of the Art Deco Society of Palm Beach County, has provided 60 years of excellence in the performing arts. It is a venue offering a variety of mainstream and alternative programming, both live and, in its Stonzek Theatre, on film. The Playhouse is one of the oldest surviving examples of this architectural style. It reopened in 1929, adding its neon sign, which may be the oldest still in use in the United States in its original site.

Lake Worth Art League

Lake Worth Art League presents an opportunity to see and purchase outstanding works of art by local artists, year-round. If you are an artist, join and present your original artwork here. All levels of emerging to professional artists can show and sell their work in the gallery as well as partake in professionally judged expressions. The public is invited to view and perhaps purchase, these works at no charge.
