Located in the heart of Palm Beach Island is the growing and popular Royal Poinciana Plaza. The newly renovated 180,000 square foot outdoor lifestyle and shopping center is filled with lush gardens and two elegant courtyards located on the corner of Royal Poinciana Way and Cocoanut Road.
The Plaza was built in 1957 by architect and builder John Volk. Volk is known for designing homes for the Vanderbilt’s, Pulitzers, Dodges, DuPonts, and Fords. The iconic black and white checkered floor and iron detail is an example of his signature Palm Beach style. A few years ago, the Plaza had undergone renovations that would bring the iconic Plaza back to its original style.
Today, The Royal Poinciana Plaza is home to high end shops, boutiques, and award-winning restaurants. Some of the stores and restaurants located there include Hermes, Saint Laurent, The Honor Bar, Jimmy Choo, Gucci, Theory, Sant Ambroeus, Palm Beach Grill, Oscar De La Renta, and much more.
Many events and entertainment are held is the courtyards every month. Currently the popular spin class SoulCycle is currently back for the third year in a row as part of their DestinationSoul program. The program brings SoulCycle spin classes to areas where there is not a SoulCycle studio nearby. The closest SoulCycle class to Palm Beach County is in Brickell, Miami Beach, and Coral Gables. The SoulOutside by SoulCycle classes are 45 minutes long and are completely outdoors. The classes take place seven days a week at the Royal Poinciana Playhouse located behind the Plaza.

Palm Beach Gallery Hop: Saturday, March 6th at 3 pm
Join the Royal Poinciana Plaza this Saturday for the Palm Beach Gallery Hop presented by Levy Gorvy. Along the terrazzo walkways, view their latest exhibitions of paintings and portraits from world-renowned galleries. There will be a musical performance at 4 pm in the East Courtyard, along with complimentary gelato from Sant Ambroeus. The event starts this Saturday at 3 pm to 5 pm.
