Mounts Botanical Garden is a 14-acre living plant museum with 22 spectacular gardens. Imagine a tropical paradise with ever-changing beauty, that you can stroll through for relaxation, inspiration or information. Exhibits, classes and events are held throughout the year. The Garden and Garden Shop is open 7 days a week 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
The Children’s Maze
One of the unique gardens within Mounts Botanical is the “Children’s Maze,” your kids or grandkids are sure to love it! Mazes are known for their mystical and magical quality. They are literally, a living puzzle. Built in the 1980s, the Children’s Maze was originally meant to be a children’s garden not to be taller than three feet high so parents could see their children go in and observe them from outside. Currently, the Maze is a castle-like structure with turrets that can be seen from a distance. The maze is created from a sweet fragrant shrub whose white flowers bloom twice a year.
