Take your boat to the movies. This Saturday, September 12th the Futures Recovery Healthcare partnered with the Jupiter Pointe Club and Marina for the first local boat-in movie theater. The event is to honor the second annual Jupiter Recovery Day.
Jupiter Recovery Day is an annual event founded by the Tequesta based Futures that honors and celebrates recovery from mental health and substance use disorders in the local community. All proceeds from this weekend’s event will benefit and be donated to Believe With Me, a local charity supporting families of fallen soldiers. The event is open to the public.
Guests are welcomed to arrive to the boat-in movie theater this Saturday, September 12th for a 7:30 pm movie screening of the classic hit Jaws. The movie will be projected onto a 45-foot screen at the marina with FM transmission available for sound. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from local nearby restaurants that will deliver your order via kayak. A VIP section is available for the movie.
The Jupiter Pointe Club and Marina staff will be available to direct and assist guests arriving by boat. The event is social distancing friendly.
The boat ramp at the marina will not be available for use during the movie screening, and if you wish to arrive by paddleboard or kayak please bring a light for safety. The Jupiter Pointe Club and Marina is asking all those who attend to sign a waiver before the movie begins.
