This January, the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting a list of calendar events for the whole family to enjoy. Head to the iconic lighthouse this month and join in on the fun filled events.

January Events at the Lighthouse:

Lighthouse Sunset Tour: January 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th

Wednesday evenings, the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum hosts their popular Lighthouse Sunset Tour.  Climb the 105 steps to the top of the lighthouse to take in the incredible views and sunset. Visitors will also get an inside look at the Lighthouse Watchroom and even get a chance to see the light turn on and illuminate the sky. The tours last approximately an hour long and registration is required due to limited space. The cost is $25 dollars per person or $20 dollars per Lighthouse members.

Twilight Yoga at the Light: January 11th, 18th, and 25th

Head to the Lighthouse Deck and experience the peace and serenity of yoga whiling taking in the views of the sunset. The class is taught by Mary Veal and all levels of yoga are welcomed to attend. The class costs $10 dollars and pre-registration is required due to limited space. Those who attend are asked to bring their own yoga mat, and water bottle.

Lighthouse Story Time and Crafts for Kids: January 12th

The lighthouse is hosting a virtual event for kids. The program is free and educational and features stories and crafts on Lighthouse Keepers, Florida history, and people and local plants and animals. The virtual class is available on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and their website. The virtual class begins at 10:30 am.

Family Adventure Day: January 16th

Head to the Lighthouse on Saturday, January 16th for a fun filled family day. The day includes a create your own fun and educational Mystery Scavenger Hunt, explore nature trails, visit the museum, and much more. Each child will receive a young explorer goodie bag to begin the adventure. The cost is $5 dollars, and the Family Adventure Day begins at 10 am to 4 pm. Tickets are online now.

Lighthouse Moonrise Tour: January 28th

Once a month, the lighthouse hosts a Lighthouse Moonrise Tour for your chance to see the incredible full moon from the top of the lighthouse. The tours are limited due to space and last approximately an hour. The tour begins at 5:30 pm.
