There is a 750-seat theatre which is a cultural hub for northern Palm Beach County. The Eissey Campus Theatre has been presenting community programs as well as entertainment through its popular music series. The Eissey Campus Theatre is located at 11051 Campus Drive, in Palm Beach Gardens. The Theatre is on the campus of Palm Beach State College.
In 1973, Edward M. Eissey was appointed to the College’s District Board of Trustees, was made vice chairman in 1974, and later chairman. Eissey was named vice president of the Palm Beach Gardens campus in 1975. When Dr. Harold Manor announced his retirement, the Board of Trustees chose Eissey as the College’s third president. He had the distinction of being the first junior college president at the same school where he was an alum and a former trustee.
Eissey Campus Theatre has been enriching the community's cultural, educational, and civic life. During a special ceremony on September 14, 1990, the Palm Beach Gardens campus was renamed the Edward M. Eissey Campus, in recognition of his years of service to the College.
Tickets are on sale now for their wildly popular music series before they sell out. Please call the ticket office for more information on the upcoming musical performances at 561-207-5900. Summer Hours are Monday-Thursday 10 AM - 5 PM
