The Abacoa Golf Club in Jupiter is a place for those who enjoy the fun of the sport. The course features multiple elevations, beautiful views, new landscaping and an outside bar at the 18th hole.

The course was the last one designed by renowned course architect Joe Lee in 1999 before his death. Matching his style, the course has many elevation changes, sloping fairways with few hindrances, 14 holes surrounded by water and picturesque views of the surrounding wetlands and wildlife. Recently the course underwent a $1 million renovation which improved the lake banks, created new landscaping and new golf cart paths, and birthed the Abacoa Golf Club Academy. The bar at the clubhouse is also a cool spot for refreshing drinks after the game.

The most challenging hole at the course is the 6th hole- 587 yards and a par 5. Two oak trees guard the right side of the fairway off the tee and a hazard runs the length of the hole on the left side spanning to the front of the green. The green slopes from back to front requiring a well-positioned shot to avoid a putt from above the hole on the quick putting green.

You can see a virtual tour of all 18 holes on the Golf Club's website here. Their prices vary by season but in the summer, you can pay as little as $35.
