Nadine Moody has served as the Fitness Director at The Club at Ibis for more than 20 years, and last week she was honored for all her hard work, being named the Best Personal Trainer in the 2021 Best of Palm Beach County Community Choice Awards.

“It is such an honor to receive the Best of the Palm Beaches Personal Trainer award,” Moody said. “There are so many competent trainers in Palm Beach County, and I can’t believe I won this prestigious award.”

Moody began working for The Club at Ibis at their Fitness Director back in 2000, having previously served in the same role in Pennsylvania at the Lebanon Valley Family YMCA. She specializes in a wide range of fitness techniques including aerobic-style based techniques, body-building and power-lifting, and even corrective exercises. Over the years she has also added sport-certificate certifications such as TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) and ITPA (International Tennis Performance Association) to assist The Club at Ibis’ members with their golf and tennis performances.

In addition to being the Fitness Director, Moody also teaches various classes at the club including Zumba/Latin Dance, Step, Spin, and Strength, all of which she continued doing even doing covid, changing many of her classes and programs to either outdoor only and even in some cases virtual.

Moody wasn't the only one to take home an award. The Jack Nicklaus-designed Legend Course at The Club at Ibis also took home an award, being named the Best Golf Course in Palm Beach County for the second straight year.
