This December, the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting a calendar list of events for the whole family to enjoy. Head to Jupiter’s iconic lighthouse for plenty of fun filled events this month.

Lighthouse Sunset Tour: December 2nd, 8th, 16th, and 30th

Climb to the top of the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse on select Tuesday and Wednesday nights and take advantage of the spectacular sunset views and watch the lighthouse turn on to illuminate the sky. In addition, visitors will get an inside look at the Lighthouse Watch room to see how everything works and learn the history of the lighthouse along the way. The tours last approximately an hour and tickets must be purchased online prior to the event.  The tours start at 4:45 pm.

Twilight Yoga At The Light: December 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th

Every Monday night in the month of December, head to the Lighthouse Deck at sunset and enjoy the peace and serenity of Yoga with Mary Veal.  All levels of yoga are welcome, and you are asked to bring your own yoga mat, water bottle, towel, and flashlight. The class starts at 6 pm and registration is required in advance.

Lighthouse Story Time and Crafts for Kids: Tuesday, December 15th

The Lighthouse is hosting a virtual story time and crafts event for kids. The program is fun, free, and educational and is perfect for kids eight years old or younger, but all are welcomed. The stories and crafts will feature items on the Lighthouse keepers, Florida’s history, and people and local plants and animals. The virtual event begins at 10:30 am.

Lighthouse Moonrise Tour: Tuesday, December 29th

Climb to the top of the lighthouse and see the incredible view of a full moon. The tours last approximately an hour and tours are limited to a certain number of visitors. Tickets are required in advance. The tour begins at 4:45 pm and lasts approximately an hour.
