Palm Beach International Airport has just been named as one of the “Top Ten Best Airports in the County” again by Conde Nast Traveler Magazine.  The travel magazine conducts a survey every year of some of the World’s Bests in traveling, leisure, vacation destinations, hotels, restaurants, and much more. This year, Palm Beach International Airport earned a spot on “The Best Airports in the US In 2020”.

Our local airport ranked number 3 on the list, behind Indianapolis International Airport and Savannah Hilton Head. This is not the first time, PBI has made the list for “Best Airports in US”. Palm Beach International Airport joins Tampa International Airport as the only two airports in Florida to make it onto the “Top Ten” list. Tampa International Airport is ranked sixth on the list.

The airport is less than 2.5 miles west of downtown West Palm Beach and just a short few minute off I-95 for easy accessibility from anywhere in South Florida. The manageable sized airport based on studies takes roughly 15 minutes from when you Check-In at Ticketing and through Security and to your gate for your next flight. The airport is also very user friendly and is packed with many restaurants, luxury pet areas, shops, full-service spa, putting green, high speed internet and amenities.

Today, more than 6.5 million travelers pass through the airport with more than 14 airlines and more than 200 non-stop daily flights. Palm Beach International is home to 5 TSA dogs and is one of 30 airports in the country to have its own TSA Pre-Check Enrollment office.
