Back to School shopping has begun and this weekend only, the state of Florida is having a Sales Tax Holiday for Back To School clothes and supplies.

For this weekend only, Friday, August 7^th through Sunday, August 9^th, qualifying items will be exempt from sales tax in the state of Florida. These items include:

• School supplies selling for $15 dollars or less per item
• Clothing, footwear, and certain accessories for $60 dollars or less per item
• The first $1,000 of the sales price for personal computers and certain computer related purchases for noncommercial home or personal use.

The Back To School Sales Tax Holiday will be accepted at any store in the state that offers these supplies and will be automatically deducted at check out.

Classes are expected to begin in Martin County on Tuesday, August 11^th and for students in Palm Beach County, the school year will begin on Monday, August 31^st.
