The Lord’s Place’s 13th Annual Ending Homelessness Breakfast will be a virtual experience this year. The Lord’s Place organization located at 2808 North Australian Avenue provides refuge for men, women and children experiencing homelessness in Palm Beach County. The West Palm Beach-based nonprofit helps thousands of people each year. The Lord’s Place nourishes both the heart and soul via its Ending Homelessness Breakfast.

The Lord’s Place’s 13th Annual Ending Homelessness Breakfast will be a quick paced virtual presentation called Turning Point. This inspirational, story-filled, virtual breakfast is an opportunity to make an impactful change. The Lord’s Place offers refuge in this critical moment. Serving people. Focusing on solutions. Creating homes. Building hope.

This year’s breakfast will be virtual nonetheless filled with inspirational individual narratives. On Thursday, November 19 at 8:30am these stories will honor those who found their way out of homelessness and on a course of independence. The clients who pass through the doors of The Lord’s Place receive training toward self-sufficiency after an individualized assessment and employment plan.

One example of optimism is Café Joshua. The café is located at The Lord’s Place main campus in West Palm Beach. Under the supervision of Chef Robert Coleman, Café Joshua teaches clients basic cooking skills preparing them for potential employment. The students, formerly homeless, prepare and serve lunch to those still on the streets, in a small restaurant setting that doubles as a safe place.
