Palm Beach Gardens has extended the deadline for its Unemployed Resident Relief Fund.

The city has scheduled an additional gift card distribution day Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Gardens North County District Park, 5101 117th Court N. No appointment is necessary.

To qualify, participants must be a resident of Palm Beach Gardens and also must be able to show documentation of lost wages or have been furloughed due to the current COVID-19 crisis.

Unemployed residents may qualify for a $250 Publix gift card. Detailed information is available on the city’s website at www.pbgfl.com/residentrelief.

The Unemployed Resident Relief Fund has assisted several hundred city residents to date, the city said.

Due to inclement weather that interrupted distribution hours last week, the city decided to add an additional day to allow those who missed the original program window.
