Join a German holiday tradition at the American German Club of the Palm Beaches located at 5111 Lantana Road in Lake Worth December 11 and 12, 2021. Share the holiday cheer and excitement of an authentic German outdoor Christmas market featuring Christmas Stollen, Strudel, Brats, Glühwein, Santa, and Christmas Carols. It is the perfect place for grown-ups and the little ones to get in the spirit of Christmas!
Experience the old-world charm of the holidays at the American German Club's Christkindlmarkt and create lasting memories while beginning new traditions with family and friends. Guests with enjoy old world traditional ambience and all types of delightful food and drinks. German delicacies such as bratwurst, schnitzel and more along with sweet holiday indulgences including traditional stollen, strudel, cookies and more will satisfy all tastes. Do not miss Glühwein (hot spice-mulled wine) and imported beers, wines and schnapps will be available for the adults. There will be holiday crafts activities for the kids and roaming storybook characters for all to enjoy!
The Christkindlmarkt hosts live entertainment throughout each day, highlighting young community performers such as school choirs and jazz bands, folk dancers and more.
After dusk, families are invited to participate in a lantern parade during which they are led through the market by Santa, while singing classic German and American holiday songs. The highlight of the event will be the Tree Lighting by Santa at around 6:30 pm.
