On Saturday, October 22, 2022, between 1:30 PM – 7:00 PM at Rohi's Readery, located at 600 South Rosemary Avenue, #Suite 162, West Palm Beach will be hosting a jubilant day celebrating Diwali "The Festival of Lights”! Rohi's Readery and The Square are teaming up for another lovely event promoting inclusivity and diversity. Join others in celebrating, Diwali!
Diwali is “The Festival Of Lights.” The mission of Rohi's Readery is to provide accessibility to all through the love of critical literacy, the talents and gifts of the community, and educational programming. The programming is FREE.
The “Festival of Lights is celebrated here. Through a cultural activity program designed through Rohl’s Readery, including a progressive story time with activity, lantern making, pop-ups of Indian delicacies, henna design and accessories, colorful music, and closing out with dancing and the lighting of the Wishing Tree.
Tentative Schedule of Events:
1:30 PM - 7 PM live music and performances on the lawn
1:30 PM-3 PM; 5-7 PM: Indian Performances and Music on the Lawn - "Sounds of Hope"
3 PM: Holi Revolutionary Storytime presented by Rohi's Readery- "Diwali Joy"
4 PM: Rohi's Readery x Resource Depot Lantern Making Art Activity - "You are a Bright Light"
5 PM: Dance Performance/ Workshop with Aatish FAU Dance Team- "Move to the Beat"
6 PM: Rajesh Tabla and Sitar Performance "Diwali Joy"
7 PM: Wishing Tree Lighting and Rangoli Decorating- "Prosperity and Happiness for All"
