The Bistro in Jupiter is a neighborhood place, and you need to know the intention is to feel it is your neighborhood place. The Bistro is located at 2133 South U.S. Highway One in Jupiter. Every neighborhood should be so lucky. It is first-class and upscale inside, but not stuffy. If you know The Palm Beach Grill or Mark’s at CityPlace, you know the feel - crisp napkins, polished glassware, lively bar. White tablecloths, crescent shaped booths, deeply cushioned and cozy. The murmur of happy diners, but not loud.

While perusing the menu and sampling the warm fresh sunflower seed-studded rolls served in a linen lined basket. A long ceramic dish with chicken liver pate, fresh cool butter, and herb and garlic seasoned olive oil accompanied the rolls. The menu is indeed bursting with bistro fare and the prices are reasonable and the quality is impressive.

- Lobster Tempura with Guacamole, Soy, and Ginger Dressing $22

- Wedge Salad with Iceberg, Bacon, Blue Cheese Dressing, Onion, Tomatoes $11    

- French Onion topped with Swiss Cheese, Crostini $12

- Snapper in Parchment Bag with Vegetables, Rice Pilaf, Sweet Chili Soy Sauce $39

- Beef Wellington is Filet Wrapped in Puff Pastry and Mushrooms, Potato Puree, Asparagus with Rosemary Sauce $42
