The word April comes from the verb “aperire” which means to open. Its commonly believed that the word refers to the season and trees and flowers begin to open or bloom.

April has two Zodiac Signs, Aries until April 19^th and Taurus which begins on April 20^th.

Earth Day is celebrated every April 22^nd and this year, National Arbor Day is celebrated on April 30^th.
