The weekend is only a few days away and Downtown Abacoa is hosting several events in addition to three Spring Training baseball games. The Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium is home to the Miami Marlins and the St. Louis Cardinals Spring Training games. At a nearby stadium, the Washington Nationals and the Houston Astros play their games at the FITTEAM Ballpark of the Palm Beaches.

Friday, March 5th at 1 pm: Houston Astros versus the Miami Marlins
Saturday, March 6th at 1 pm: Washington Nationals versus the Miami Marlins
Sunday, March 7th at 1 pm: Houston Astros versus the St. Louis Cardinals
Every weekend, the restaurants gather to host an Open-Air Dining event every Friday and Saturday night. Tables are moved out onto the streets for dinner under the stars. The event started last year and has become very popular. The dining event is every Friday and Saturday night from 4 pm to 10 pm.
Restaurants located within the Downtown Abacoa area include Aquazure Restaurant and Bar, Bahama Bucks, Freshii, Brick and Barrel Gastro Pub, Crux Coffee Roaster, Civil Society Brewing Company, Copacabana, Costello’s Trattoria, Das Beer Garden, Hokkaido Hibachi and Sushi, JJ Muggs Stadium Grill, and Jumby Bay Island Grill.
Also happening this Saturday afternoon in Downtown Abacoa is the Downtown Abacoa Cruise In. Come and check out the dozens of classic and antique cars lining Town Center Drive. All are welcomed to attend this event on Saturday from 4 pm to 8 pm.
