Several local restaurants have teamed up together to participate in the first “Eat in for Education” event this January. The Palm Beach Chapter of the Florida Restaurants and Lodging Association (FRLA) is hosting the virtual event to help support educational scholarships for local culinary and hospitality students. The event is scheduled to take place this January 20th and January 21st.

Fifteen local hotels and restaurants will participate by donating three-course takeout meals for the event. Diners will have a two-tier option to spend $50 or $100 dollars on a takeout meal for two. Palm Beach County residents are encouraged to participate and purchase these takeout meals to help benefit the event and help support local businesses.

In previous years, the annual event was previous called Palm Beach E.A.T.S. and was a huge success. Since the program began over four years ago, the event has raised almost $80,000 dollars which has been donated to help fund students launching careers in the Florida hospitality industry.
