Palm Beach County is home to over 83 parks that feature everything from playgrounds to thousands-acre parks filled with fun outdoor activities for the whole family. Some of the parks include Amphitheaters, Fishing Lakes, Equestrian Centers, Nature Exhibits, Golf Courses, Aquatic Centers, and more. 

Palm Beach County is also home to many beach parks, state parks, and the parks run by individual cities not maintained by the county. Here is a list of some of the best parks to visit in Palm Beach County:

Okeeheelee Park

This 1,702-acre park features a 111- acre Equestrian Center with a rider ring and trails, a 27-hole golf course, a Nature Center, Boat Launch, Bike Trails, Walking Trails, and much more. The park is located at 7715 Forest Hill Boulevard in West Palm Beach and is open from sunrise to sunset.

Riverbend Park

Riverbend Park is located off Indiantown Road in Jupiter, next to the Loxahatchee River Battlefield Park. The Battlefield Park was the site of two 1838 Battles of the Second Seminole Indian War. The park features nearly 10 miles of walking trails and 7 miles of equestrian trails. The park is also good for fishing and has a picnic area as well. 

DuBois Park 

Located along the Jupiter Inlet, this local park has excellent views of the boats passing in and out of the inlet and the Jupiter Lighthouse. The park has a roped off snorkeling lagoon, a playground for kids, and a chance to tour the DuBois Pioneer Home, one of the last remaining historic homesteads in South Florida. Tours for the Dubois Home are every Tuesday and Thursday from 10 am to 1 pm and the tour is free. 

Carlin Park

Massive beachfront park where you can play volleyball, tennis, softball and even bocce ball. Run or walk the exercise course that features multiple unique training stations. As for events Carlin Park also features the Seabreeze Amphitheater which hosts live music, special events and the annual Shakespeare by the Sea Festival.
