The Palm Beach International Airport have been ranked in the Top 10 Airports in the United States for many years and just one of two airports in Florida that made the list last year. In addition to being a great airport and very convenient to travelers, Palm Beach International is taking steps to ensure that everyone stays safe and healthy.

The airport has been taken several steps to ensure everyone’s safety when traveling to or from South Florida.

Since the beginning of March, the airport has added several cleaning and sanitation enhancements throughout the terminals and airport as well as the regular use of the electrostatic sprayer. The sprayer is used to ensure that all touchpoints including the bathrooms and terminals are disinfected several times a day. The airport has added more janitorial staff and have been closing the main terminal and concourses every day between 11 pm to 3 am for a deep cleaning.

In addition to the daily disinfectant spray, there are social distancing markings on the floor and signs and hand sanitizer throughout, TSA security checkpoint bins are cleaned and sanitized multiple times a day, and new barriers at every ticket counter.

PBI is open and requires that travelers and employees wear a mask or facial coverings, keep their distance, wash your hands regularly, and do not travel if you are sick or feeling ill.
