PBI To Add New Flights

Traveling to and from the West Coast to South Florida is about to get easier. Palm Beach International Airport announced recently that JetBlue has plans to add a direct flight from Palm Beach International Airport to Los Angeles, California.

JetBlue announced Thursday, that they will be offering non-stop daily flights between Palm Beach and Los Angeles starting in November. The first direct flight will be beginning on November 19th and will depart LAX at 8 am PST and arrive in West Palm Beach at 3:52 pm EST. Currently the average flight time from Los Angeles to South Florida is around five hours.

The East coast to West coast flights will depart PBI at 5 pm EST and is scheduled to arrive in Los Angeles at 8:33 pm PST.

The airport has announced that they are thrilled to welcome the Los Angeles service via JetBlue to Palm Beach County. Los Angeles has historically been a popular destination with travelers coming to and from West Palm Beach. Currently travelers traveling to and from Southern California to West Palm Beach need to make connecting flights.

The new service will be the first direct service to Los Angeles from Palm Beach County since American Airlines ended its nonstop service in 2015.
