The Town of Jupiter is home to one of the few remaining dog friendly beaches in the state of Florida. The town adopted the idea in 1989, that allowed dogs to roam on freely on the 2.5 miles of sandy beach in Jupiter.
The Jupiter Dog Beach stretched from Marcinski Road at Beach Marker #25, north to Carlin Park Beach Maker #57. In the designated areas, dogs are welcomed to roam freely and must be supervised at all times.
Dogs are allowed on the beach from sunrise to sunset. The Town of Jupiter has a set of rules they would like everyone to follow when bringing your pet to the beach. Being able to bring your dog to the beach is a privilege and The Friends of Jupiter provides free dog waste bags at every cross over along the designated dog-friendly stretch of the beach.
Parking is free along A1A or public parking lots at Carlin Park or Marcinski Road. To view the map of the designated dog friendly beach areas, click here.
Next time you are thinking about spending the day at the beach, bring your dog.
