Last week, the West Palm Beach Mayor, Mayor James, stated that “the show must go on”. The Mayor was referring to the popular 4^th on Flagler event that happens every year on the waterfront in West Palm Beach.

This year, the celebration will be celebrated a little differently. Instead of spectators lining the waterfront and Flagler Drive, spectators will be able to watch the firework spectacular from the comfort of their own homes. This year, the 4^th on Flagler will be televised due to social distancing and the CDC guidelines and recommendations.

The 4^th on Flagler event will not only be celebrating America’s independence but will also celebrate West Palm Beach 125^th anniversary as a city. West Palm Beach became a city on July 21^st, 1903.

The event will be televised on WPBF 25 News or ABC on Saturday, July 4^th. The time of the event will be announced at a later date.
