Last week, the West Palm Beach Mayor, Mayor James, stated that “the show must go on”. The Mayor was referring to the popular 4th on Flagler event that happens every year on the waterfront in West Palm Beach.

This year, the celebration will be celebrated a little differently. Instead of spectators lining the waterfront and Flagler Drive, spectators will be able to watch the firework spectacular from the comfort of their own homes. This year, the 4th on Flagler will be televised due to social distancing and the CDC guidelines and recommendations.

The 4th on Flagler event will not only be celebrating America’s independence but will also celebrate West Palm Beach 125th anniversary as a city. West Palm Beach became a city on July 21st, 1903.

The event will be televised on WPBF 25 News or ABC on Saturday, July 4th. The time of the event will be announced at a later date.
