Celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month at Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens in Delray Beach. Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens is located at 4000 Morikami Park Road, Delray Beach.

The Zen oasis will showcase a plethora of adult and family-friendly programming, including the new art exhibit, Behind the Wall: Visions of the Asian Experience in America, featuring powerful works by five legendary Japanese and Asian American mural artists. Behind the Wall runs now through September 25, 2022. 

Meet the curator of the Morikami Museum and Japanese Garden. Wendy Lo is the Morikami Museum's distinguished curator of education. Wendy received her Master of Arts in Asian Studies from Florida International University and has studied and sojourned extensively throughout Japan. She began her career at the Morikami in 2009 and has dramatically expanded the public's knowledge of Japanese culture since her curatorial appointment in 2014. Today, Wendy spearheads world-class educational initiatives, docent, and adult outreach programming, and oversees the award-winning Stroll for Well-Being. It is a therapeutic wellness program that immerses participants in the peace and serenity of the Japanese gardens.
