Broward County has a Happiest City in U.S.

According to a recent study by WalletHub a quaint city in Broward County, Florida was named one of the “happiest” cities in the U.S.  Smile Pembroke Pines, you are the happiest city in South Florida!  The content southwest Broward city of 170,000 residents ranked No. 21 on the 2020 list. It was the only municipality in South Florida to break the top 50. 

Broward County is located south of Palm Beach County and north of Miami-Dade County.  This is the second most populous county in Florida, with just under 1.8 million residents. With more sunny days than not, Broward County is a favorite locale by globe trotters. Offering the warm Atlantic Ocean, white sandy beaches and beautiful seaside living, it is no wonder so many people flock to the area.

Pembroke Pines may have scored so well because it is known for its small town feel with big city features. You do not really need to leave the city to run errands. You can find bakeries, grocery stores, restaurants, and plazas all along Pines Boulevard.  There is a 35,000 square-foot City Center Pembroke Pines bringing concerts and music events, in addition to manicured lush lawns along Pines Boulevard and the majestic flowing fountains that bedeck developments.
