Palm Beach County Commissioners modified the timeline to reopen venues and extend restaurant hours earlier than expected. The commissioners revised the county’s Phase Two plan during a planned meeting yesterday afternoon.

The revised plan was drafted during last week’s, September 15th meeting and if the county continued to go forward in the direction we are headed, the commissioners would revise the timeline to reopen more of Palm Beach County. At yesterday’s meeting, the board directed the staff to modify the timeline and re-open venues earlier than anticipated.

Starting today, Friday, September 25th, all restrictions related to the operating hours of businesses and establishments will be lifted and businesses came resume their normal hours of operation. Beginning on Monday, September 28th, bingo parlors, comedy clubs, auditoriums, concert halls, and playhouses will be able to operate at 50% capacity.

Effective October 5th, all bars, and cigar lounges will be able to reopen at 50% capacity with other guidelines to be issued in the next few days. The opening of nightclubs will require the authorization of the Governor and the Department of Business and Professional Relations, there is no date for reopening set as of now.
