Visit Jupiter's Dog Beach This Summer

There is only a few remaining Dog Beaches in the State of Florida and Jupiter is home to the only one in Palm Beach County. The Town of Jupiter adopted the policy and idea to allow dogs on the beach in 1989. Today, the dog beach has stretched to over 2.5 miles along the sandy shoreline.

The Jupiter Dog Beach stretches from Carlin Park beach marker #57 south to Marcinski Road beach marker #25. In the designated dog beach area, dogs are permitted to roam freely, and dogs must be supervised at all times.

The Dog Beach is open from sunrise to sunset. The Town of Jupiter has a set of rules they would like everyone to follow when bringing your pet to the beach. Being able to bring your dog to the beach is a privilege and The Friends of Jupiter provides free dog waste bags at every cross over along the designated dog-friendly stretch of the beach.

Parking is free along A1A or public parking lots at Carlin Park or Marcinski Road.  To view the map of the designated dog friendly beach areas, click here.
