Volunteer organizations, individuals around Palm Beach County and the globe have been working with the ocean conservancy. Hoping to end the flow of trash at the source ending the flow of trash at the source. It is working to protect the ocean from today’s greatest global challenges creating evidence-based solutions for a healthy ocean and the wildlife and communities that depend on it.

The International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) unites people to remove trash from the world’s beaches and waterways. Thanks to volunteers around the world, the ICC has become a guiding light of hope, leading, and encouraging action in support of the ocean.

Since its beginning, more than seventeen million volunteers have collected more than 348 million pounds of trash. Saturday, September 17, 2022, is International Coastal Cleanup Day. Join volunteer groups on this day to help clean our oceans.

Plastic pollution is an enormous problem for our oceans, but modest actions can make a massive difference. From plankton to whales and other marine life, creatures throughout the ocean are finding their homes polluted by plastics.

Join others for the International Coastal Cleanup. Be the change and #SeatheChange. Every bottle, every straw, and every piece of trash you clean up can lead to a cleaner, healthier ocean.

Do your part! The ocean thanks you.
