The 31st Annual Downtown Stuart Art Festival will be taking place this weekend. Osceola Street in Downtown Stuart will be transformed into a spectacular art festival. Gallery style booths will line the street and be filled with fine art and homemade goods available for purchase.

Stuart is home to more than 70 gift shops, clothing stores, and restaurants in the downtown area that will be open during the art festival for locals and visitors to enjoy the small town.  For the past 34 years, the festival has established itself to be one of the main art fairs in Martin County.

The Stuart Art Festival Details:

When: Saturday, February 27th and Sunday, February 28th

Time:  10 am to 5 pm.

Tickets: Admission is free and visitors who wish to attend are asked to reserve a time slot in which they plan to attend.

Stuart is known as the “Sailfish Capital” of the world due to its location along the banks of the St. Lucie River and the Eastern point of the Okeechobee waterways, where many sailfish are found. In 2016, the small town was awarded the “America’s Happiest Seaside Town” award by Coastal Living Magazine. Stuart is also on the Smithsonian Magazine’s “Must Visit Small Town”, “America’s Most Beautiful Small Town”, and “Top Ten Beach Towns in Florida” lists.
