Take A Virtual Boating Safety Course This Saturday and Sunday

On select Saturdays and Sundays, The River Center in Jupiter teams up with the US Coast Guard Auxiliary “Flotilla 52” to provide Boating Safety Classes targeted for young boaters in our community. The class is aimed for young boaters, but all boaters are welcomed to join and learn more about the safety on the water.

The classes are taught in a lecture style and the classes are provided to the community through a generous sponsorship by the AustinBlu Foundation. The foundation is a non-profit dedicated to raising awareness and promoting educational programs to enhance boater safety.

The Boating Safety Course will be this Saturday and Sunday, April 17th and 18th. The two-day course will be completely virtual and can be taken from anywhere. The course is free, but a deposit of $10 dollars is requested to reserve your space in the class. The money will be refunded once the course is complete. The young boaters will receive their Florida Boater Safety Identification card once the course is complete, and the exam has been taken and the boating card will be able to use immediately.
