Palm Beach County Set to Reopen Some Recreational Facilities Wednesday

Palm Beach County is taking gradual steps to start to reopen the county in a safe way. 

On Monday afternoon, the county commissioners announced that starting tomorrow Wednesday, April 29th marinas, public parks, boat ramps, community pools, golf courses, tennis courts and other recreational facilities will begin to open with restrictions and maintaining social distancing. The beaches will still remain closed.

Restrictions include:

Golf Course may reopen in compliance with the CDC and county guidelines.  Only one person per golf cart or shared golf carts for family living in the same household.

Park hours are limited to sunrise to sunset.

Tennis Courts will only have single play.

Community pools must practice social distancing, you will not be allowed to gather or sit around the pool, the pool must be used for physical activity.

Boats are not allowed to hook up to another boat and dock, sandbars and Peanut Island will remain closed to prevent big gatherings.
