The Royal Poinciana Plaza, located at 340 Royal Poinciana Way, Suite 320, in Palm Beach, is hosting Sommelier Saturdays with the Virginia Philip Wine Spirits and Academy. Sommelier Saturdays are offered every Saturday with tasting slots available at: 11:30 A.M., 1:00 P.M., 2:30 P.M. and 5:00 P.M.
Virginia Philip is an internationally renowned Master Sommelier and pioneer in the wine industry. She became just the 11th woman in the world to earn Master Sommelier accreditation in 2002. Virginia has been named “Best Sommelier USA” to an honoree for the inaugural Women in Wine & Spirits Awards. Virginia acts as the Wine Director for The Breakers and holds a doctorate degree in Oenology. She also owns and operates her eponymous wine shop in The Royal Poinciana Plaza.
