Co-founder and MD leaves Sirius Property Finance to start new venture Mortgage Strategy

Nicholas Christofi the co-founder and managing director of Sirius Property Finance is leaving the business to start a new mortgage venture.

Brightstar Financial has reacquired his shareholding in the business, making Sirius Property Finance a wholly owned subsidiary of Brightstar.

Christofi, who was managing director of the company for three years, will start a new business with minority shareholder Leoni Alexandrou. He will also be joined by other members of the Sirius team as part of a pre-planned and agreed arrangement. 

Brightstar confirmed that a new management team is already in place with further details due to be confirmed in due course.

Brightstar Group CEO Rob Jupp said he wished Christofi and Alexandrou well for the new enterprise, and thanked them for work in recent years. “We are proud of the entire team at Sirius Property Finance, and look forward to seeing the growth and success of the business continue over the months and years ahead.”

Christofi adds: “I would like to thank Rob and the team for their combined efforts in supporting the success and development of Sirius since I first joined back in 2016. I am looking forward to beginning an exciting new venture outside of the Brightstar Group.”
