Haysto has hired Miles Robinson as its new chief commercial officer.

Robinson hails form Trussle, where he worked for two and a half years, latterly as vice president of sales.

Previous to that he worked at One 77 and L&C.

In his new role, Robinson will be responsible for offering “rigorous operational and commercial oversight,” as Haysto pursues its stated aim of hiring 100 staff members by the end of the year.

Late last year, the firm shifted from being an online aggregator for mortgages to a fully-fledged online broker.

Haysto co-founder and chief executive Jonny Moulton says: “Miles’s background of scaling [up] and leading customer facing teams in high-growth environments – while seeing the challenges faced by first-to-market digital brokerages – is a perfect fit for Haysto.

“In six months, we’ve launched as a brokerage and recruited close to 50 people and plan to double headcount in the next six months to meet customer demand. Key to realising Haysto’s vision and market opportunity is inspirational leadership and execution ability and Miles brings both’.

“Miles is highly regarded across the industry, and we’re excited to welcome him to the team’

And Robinson comments: “[Haysto] has been built on the foundation of providing an A-star service to customers who don’t fit the traditional profile of high-street banks.

“I’m excited about being part of its mission to help these customers through the maze of complexities to find the right mortgage, just for them!
