Santander chief customer officer for homes Tracie Pearce has left the bank.
Pearce, who was responsible for supporting customers in all aspects of home finance, left the lender last month.
She joined the bank in this newly-created role in January 2021, and also led “the strategic development, digital transformation and innovation” of its mortgage business.
In addition, Pearce was the lender’s regional business owner for home across Europe with a remit to “drive and improve customer experiences” across all of its European markets.
Pearce joined Santander from HSBC where she worked for six-and-a-half years, leaving as director of retail banking.
In an extensive career, she also worked for Nationwide for seven-and-a-half years, leaving as head of savings in 2015.
Pearce has also held a number of non-executive positions, including roles at John Lewis and HSBC Finance.
Santander says: “After two-and-a-half years delivering some excellent results for Santander’s homes business, Tracie decided now is the right time to look for new opportunities.
“She left the bank at the end of September with the best wishes of all at Santander.”
It is unclear what role Pearce will take up next.
