Dynamo for Intermediaries and Next Intelligence mortgage clubs say they will merge in a bid to “streamline and strengthen their wider offering to mortgage intermediaries”.

The new club, known as Next Intelligence, will be managed by club director Cat Armstrong. Its sales function will be led by head of club sales Louise Perry.

As part of the move, Mortgage Intelligence head of network sales Jason Bryant says his “sole focus will now be on Mortgage Intelligence Network, while I know that our directly authorised club members will be in safe hands for the future.”

Next Intelligence, a directly authorised network, launched in 2011 bringing together the Mortgage Intelligence and Mortgage Next clubs, which were both established in 1996. The business has 3,500 intermediary members.

Dynamo for Intermediaries, launched in 2012, is a specialist mortgage club and packager with 4,000 members.

The move comes after Dynamo managing director John Cupis also took on the role of managing director of Mortgage Intelligence from Sally Laker last September, who retired after 27 years in the industry.

Cupis says: “We are combining the strength and scale of two outstanding mortgage clubs to serve our advisers with an even greater offering for mortgages, protection and general insurance products.

He adds the firm plans to “grow and develop the offering”.

Armstrong says “The change will bring benefits to members of both clubs who will see more staff members on hand to support them, as well as dedicated contacts to provide case placement and training for specialist and complex buy to let, residential, bridging and commercial lending.”
