Hope Capital has appointed Laurel Livesey as its senior underwriting coordinator.
This newly-created role has been designed to speed up process within the department as it deals with increased levels of business, resulting in quicker turnaround times for borrowers and brokers.
In this role Livesey will work closely with both the sales and underwriting departments to streamline processes. This will also ensure brokers are provided with more progress updates.
Livesey joined Hope Capital at the start of last year as an underwriter and has significant experience in this role.
The lenders says she is well-placed as a result to identify and introduce processes which will add value to its offering.
Since joining the business she had introduced a new ‘bot’ to the lender’s app, helping the lender issue terms faster, and removing the need of borrowers having to participate in phone calls to provide information.
Hope Capital head of underwriting Laura Carr says: “[Livesey] brings a wealth of experience, with a keen interest in developing and enhancing our offering.
“She will also be playing a pivotal role in the legal process and will therefore be a support to our stakeholder partners as well.”
