Mortgage Broker Tools has launched a subscription service so that brokers can carry out unlimited affordability searches for £9.99 per month.

The MBT tool aggregates the results from 32 lenders’ affordability calculators so that brokers can check a wide range of options for borrowers at once.

Previously the tool was only available on a pay-as-you-go model at a cost of £2.50 per search.

The subscription service will offer tiered discounts for larger firms.

MBT managing director Lewis Lenssen says that over the past year since launch brokers have been increasingly adopting the tool.

He says: “A consequence of this appetite was that brokers felt limited by the Pay As You Go model as they wanted to use the platform on every case, but also control their costs. 

“So, we have taken this feedback on board and launched a simple subscription service that offers unlimited access every month, for a single, low price. 

“This is great news for brokers, and great news for clients, as more will now benefit from the advantages of comprehensive affordability research – which can often result in them securing a preferable product.”
