Roma Finance has hired Sonia Mann as head of field sales where she will be responsible for the specialist lender’s “key sales strategies and relationships”.
The firm says it plans to grow to a £350m business with this appointment “marking a key date in these growth plans”.
Veteran Mann joins the lender from CrowdProperty where she worked as a head of intermediaries for 19 months.
She has also held posts at Together as a corporate relationship director and Santander as a relationship manager in a 26-year career in financial services.
Roma Finance commercial director Michael Allison says: “Her [Mann’s] experience, dynamics and values make her the ideal choice to lead our external sales team. We haven’t been shy with our plans and our growth trajectory continues to surpass expectations.”
Mann adds: “The reputation and ethics of the business are first class and I am looking forward to working with the team and putting my specialist lending and business development skills into play.”
