CHL Mortgages has hired Stuart Kay as a business development manager for North London to strengthen the specialist buy-to-let lender’s broker support in the capital. 

Kay has more than 30 years of experience as a business development manager and has worked for Fleet Mortgages, Crystal Specialist Finance and Keystone Property Finance among other firms.  

However, this move sees him return to a business he first worked for in 1994.  

Kay says: “After a few years away, it’s great to be rejoining the team, especially at such an exciting time following the acquisition of CHL Mortgages for Intermediaries by Chetwood Financial [last month].   

“Our strong proposition and broad criteria will appeal to brokers looking for ways to help their landlord clients.”  

CHL Mortgages commercial director Ross Turrell adds: “Having worked with Stuart previously I know just how much knowledge and experience he brings to the role.   

“Stuart knows the BTL industry like the back of his hand and is already very well established within the broker community.”
