Danske Bank UK will join LMS Panel Link’s conveyancing members partnership.

The move will see the Danish bank gain access to a vetted panel of conveyancing firms that meet its requirements.

The lender’s customers in England and Wales will also have access to fees assisted remortgage products through LMS.

The conveyancer says both services help secure payment and speed up house buying and remortgaging transactions. Danske Bank’s addition brings the number of lenders on the LMS panel to 30.

Earlier this week, Danske Bank said it would enter the main UK market by offering its carbon-neutral mortgage for residential homes in the South East, South West and East of England, excluding London, initially through brokers registered with the Mortgage Advice Bureau.

The move follows the successful launch of the product in Northern Ireland last year.

LMS chief executive Nick Chadbourne says: “We are delighted that Danske Bank has chosen LMS to launch further into the UK market and are pleased to be further strengthening our position in this market.”

Danske Bank UK head of GB mortgages Patrick Mullan adds: “We’re already a market leader in Northern Ireland and have a significant presence in the mortgage intermediary market there, so it’s a natural step for us to bring that expertise and capability to benefit consumers in England.

“LMS offers a solution that delivers enhanced satisfaction to our customers and extra peace of mind for our borrowers as they purchase or remortgage a home.”
