One Mortgage System has hired Melanie Spencer as its business partnership and growth director.

The CRM platform for brokers says Spencer will help with new lender onboarding, lender integrations and third-party collaborations.

It adds that the veteran “will use her extensive experience and network of contacts” to recruit new clients and will work with lenders, brokers and third parties.

Spencer joins from Finova where she worked for three-and-a-half years, leaving as business development director.

She has also held posts at the Twenty7tec Group for almost three years, leaving as head of lender relationships in 2020.

Spencer also worked for Personal Touch Financial Services for almost a decade in a variety of roles, leaving as member development trainer in 2017.

One Mortgage System managing director Neal Jannels says: “Mel comes with a huge amount of experience and in-depth understanding of all the unique components across both lenders and the intermediary mortgage market and I’m sure that she will prove a huge asset to the business and play a key role in our ambitious growth strategy.”

Spencer adds: “Having worked for both lending and intermediary firms, I am looking forward to helping One Mortgage System to really make a difference both for intermediaries, and with lenders in the mortgage origination space.”
