Bank of Ireland UK says that Alan Longhorn has become its head of sales, distribution and marketing on an interim basis.
Longhorn takes over from Graham Felstead, who will step back from his role but will remain with the lender on a short-term consultancy basis to ensure a smooth handover.
The bank says Longhorn has over 15 years of experience in the mortgage industry, the last five of which have seen him leading its sales team and working with intermediaries.
Prior to joining Bank of Ireland, Longhorn spent seven-and-a-half years at RBS, leaving as a regional director for the North of England and NatWest Scotland in April 2018.
Bank of Ireland UK head of home buying and ownership Martin Brown says that Longhorn brings “a wealth of experience gained both within Bank of Ireland as well as from his previous roles in the mortgage industry.
“I’d also like to thank Graham for the support and guidance he has provided during his time with us which has really helped us to strengthen our position in the intermediary market.
“Alan’s appointment coupled with the short-term support from Graham will ensure a seamless handover and continued support and commitment to our Intermediary partners.”
