Life and health insurance intermediary Assured Futures, part of Howden global insurance group, has rebranded to Howden Life and Health.

The rebrand is part of Howden’s strategy to unite under one globally recognised brand as it serves clients across more territories and specialisms.

Assured Futures, founded in 1995, was acquired by Howden in 2020.

It specialises in life insurance, private medical insurance, income protection, accident sickness and unemployment cover.

It was one of the first specialist protection insurance brokers in the UK.

Howden Life and Health commercial director Ian Sawyer said: “This rebrand marks the next exciting chapter in our journey with the new name enabling our customers, both consumer and business, access the widest choice of insurance solutions available, through High Street locations, online and via specialist centres.

“This gives them more confidence to buy and to trust an organisation which is ‘people first’ and harnesses the collective power of experts across the UK and indeed the world. Our people make it possible for us to fully align with the Howden Group while also reflecting our specialist and unique role within it.”
