The Boca Raton Museum of Art glass exhibition entitled “Glasstress Boca Raton 2021” will be on display through September 5, 2021, in Boca Raton. This exhibition showcases over 30 international artists who have created works in glass in collaboration with the master glass artisans at Berengo Studio on the island of Murano in the Venetian lagoon. It is a sequel to the 2016 Glasstress exhibition at Boca Raton Museum of Art.

Some of the world's leading contemporary glass artisans have been invited “to breathe new life into centuries-old glassmaking in Venice ― maestros of glassblowing from the legendary Berengo Studio residency help artists manifest their visions.”

The “Glastree Boca Raton 2021” is a “tribute to the resilience of Venice’s surviving the floods and continuing to make art through the pandemic.” Most of these works in glass have never been seen elsewhere. The exhibit is entitled “Glasstress Boca Raton 2021”.  Kathleen Goncharov, the Boca Raton Museum of Art, Senior Curator, handpicked works in Italy.

The exhibition runs January 27 through September 5, 2021, and the Museum will feature online initiatives for virtual viewing.  The Boca Raton Museum of Art will be open Wednesdays through Sundays.
