Start-up Keychain is rolling out a digital hub for brokers, solicitors and their clients aimed at speeding up the mortgage process.

The platform’s services include fact finding, document sharing, and e-signing of client care documents.

It says over the last 18 months the firm has worked with a group of brokers to develop the product and refine workflows and data collection across a range of clients — from first-time buyer cases to complex portfolio landlord deals.

The business was awarded a £100,000 Ordnance Survey and HM Land Registry Geovation accelerator grant to continue to develop its services last week.

It was founded by chief executive Jack Rogers, a former Bank of England economist, and chief technology officer Ivan Sivukha, a software engineer.

Keychain’s Rogers says: “There are thousands of fantastic mortgage advisors across the country who guide their clients through life’s most significant financial transaction.

“We identified a market gap for a software solution that seamlessly integrates into existing ways of working, enabling brokers and their clients to efficiently share the data and documents required for the advice journey.

“Keychain allows brokers to focus on providing advice rather than admin tasks.”
