Science at Loxahatchee River Center - Jupiter

The Loxahatchee River Center, located at 805 N. U.S. Highway One in Jupiter presents “Science with Sam”. The program is on select Wednesdays from 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm.  Join the Loxahatchee River Center Scientist Sam for different science activities for our Kindergarten through 5th grade aged children. Activities will include garden exploration and hand-on opportunities with wildlife. Each month has a different theme pertaining to the Loxahatchee River area.

Upcoming themes for September and October are as follows:

  9/15 - Sharks

  9/22 - Wonders of Water

  9/29 - Weather Watchers

10/13 - Reptiles and Amphibians

10/20 – Bones & Teeth (Offsite Location-Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area)

10/27 – Creepy Crawlies

The program is FREE. Please RSVP to attend. Space is limited COVID-19 precautions.  All participants 6 and up are required to wear a face covering. Siblings will be paired together. individuals will be provided their own table and materials. All writing instruments and event equipment will be sanitized before and after use.  Participants are welcome to bring their own writing utensils.
